2004 ANNUAL MEETING & TAX SEMINAR IN REVIEW

NETWORKING
One of the primary benefits of attending the Annual Convention & Tax Seminar is the opportunity to meet not only other NSAC members but also speakers and sponsors. There were many opportunities to network during meals, breaks, receptions, optional activities and unscheduled time. There were numerous opportunities to talk to NSAC officers, directors and staff about your ideas and issues. 237 people took advantage of these opportunities.

TECHNICAL SESSIONS AND SPEAKERS
A major element of NSAC's mission is to provide accounting, tax and business education uniquely tailored to cooperatives, and the Annual Conference is the event that brings this all together for our members. Each year we have speakers who are leaders in their firms and technical experts in their professions. This year was no exception.

AWARDS
A highlight of every Annual Convention is recognizing those chapters and individuals who have epitomized the values and goals of NSAC and have gone above and beyond in their service to NSAC and to cooperatives. They were recognized at a special Award Luncheon hosted by President Bob Beerup.

SPONSORS
NSAC would not be able to offer outstanding educational and networking opportunities for our members without the generous support of members who provide their services free of charge and to sponsors who help underwrite the cost of the Annual Convention.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES
This year we offered a number of options to our members and guests: 6 Flags at Elitch Gardens, golf, Colorado Rockies vs. Chicago Cubs baseball game, the Butterfly Pavilion, a Denver city tour ending with shopping/lunch at Cherry Creek mall, and a trip to the Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods, and Buffalo Bills.
